Per UFGS 08 11 16, fenestration-related product data may require NFRC Project Label Certificates verifying compliance for the assembly, with NFRC Bid Reports accepted earlier in the workflow but NFRC validated Project Label Certificates required at closeout. A manufacturer's brochure with a claimed U-factor but no NFRC validation is a hard problem for review. The SHGC rating per NFRC 200 and air infiltration test results per AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101 should also be present. Missing either can trigger a resubmission.
Division 22, Plumbing Fixtures (Section 22 00 70). Per UFGS 22 00 70, all plumbing submittals carry G (Government Approved) classification. Work cannot proceed without approval. Each fixture type requires WaterSense label documentation, NSF/ANSI 61 certification for potable water contact, and NSF/ANSI 372 lead content certification. Submitting series-level product data without identifying the specific model number and its documented flow rate configuration gets the package returned.
Every one of these rejection triggers is a data field that can be checked against the spec before the submittal ever reaches the architect's desk.
